Modern Magick

Modern Magick: Twelve Lessons in the High Magickal Arts by Donald Michael Kraig is a hefty volume of more than 500 pages and provides an admirably thorough step-by-step course in practicing magick. It has been a best-seller for two decades, but thanks to periodic revisions is as fully up to date as you could hope for. The latest edition (published in 2010) embraces Chaos Magick, NLP and the Postmodern approach whilst maintaining its roots in the Western tradition.

This is a book that is of great use to the complete beginner as well as the experienced mage and if you haven’t studied it you should make doing so a priority. Highly recommended.
